A BACK LOG OF KEVIN'S 411 BY KEVIN LOW
A FEW BACK ISSUES OF KEVIN'S 411 by KEVIN LOW

DAVID SPADE received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this morning.
Other stars that attended were "Just Shoot Me" cast members LAURA SAN GIACOMO,
WENDY MALICK, and ENRICO COLANTONI. ADAM SANDLER was scheduled to speak, but
cancelled, and replaced by CHRIS ROCK. Xena's LUCY LAWLESS also attended.

Nice as always, LUCY LAWLESS was very accomodating, signing multiples. Nobody
asked ENRICO, and LAURA SAN GIACOMO was just as sour as the other night,
ignoring those trying to call her over. WENDY MALICK, however, changed her
tune from the other night, walking right over to where we were standing, and
signed away. CHRIS ROCK reluctantly signed a few. We also overheard him say
to LUCY LAWLESS, "I'm gonna turn my back. Pretend to talk to me so I don't have
to sign anymore autographs for these motherf*&#$s."

DAVID SPADE promised to sign after doing press. Before an interview with
Access Hollywood, he told the reporter, "Let me sign some autographs before we
do this. These people have been waiting in the heat for hours." True to his
word, he walked over to the barricade and signed for everyone that asked.

The premiere for the new DAVID SPADE flick, "DICKIE ROBERTS" was held last
night in Hollywood. Thanks to Jesse from this newsgroup, people started lining
up to be in the front of the barricade at 11am. Oh wait, Brian, king of
autographs and ruler of the newsgroup says I'm not supposed to write stories,
just tell who signed and who didn't. Come to think of it, I don't give a rat's
ass what Brian thinks.

The guest list appeared to be a Who's Who of classic television or those that
would appear at the Hollywood Collectors Show, only we didn't have to pay them
to sign. JOHNNY WHITAKER, ALISON ARNGRIM, TODD BRIDGES, CHARLENE TILTON, ADAM
RICH, CHRISTOPHER KNIGHT, and RODNEY ALLEN RIPEY were all great signers and
posed for photos for anyone that asked.

ROB SCHNEIDER, KEVIN JAMES, SARA RUE, SARAH RAMOS, TOM ARNOLD, JOHN SALLEY,
BRITTANY DANIEL, and FRANKIE MUNIZ were also very accomidating.

Mayfield's own Wally Cleaver, TONY DOW was also present, and very nice about
signing and posing for photos. LAURA SAN GIACOMO's arm had to be twisted into
signing, and castmate WENDY MALICK didn't want to have anything to do with
autographs. MICHAEL ROSENBAUM also signed.

I was really excited to see What's Happenin' cast members, ERNEST THOMAS (Raj)
and FRED BERRY (Rerun) on the list. I grew up watching this show, and consider
it an all time favorite. Both were super nice, and signed and posed for photos
with us. To everyone's surprise, HAYWOOD NELSON (Dwayne) also showed up. We
were able to track him down after the movie, and he was just as nice as the
others, signing and posing for photos. He commented on the photo I had, saying
he had the exact same photo framed in his house.

COREY FELDMAN, EMMANUEL LEWIS, LEIF GARRETT, BARRY WILLIAMS, and ERIN MORAN,
wouldn't come over to sign.

DAVID SPADE wouldn't sign, but ALYSSA MILANO surprisingly walked over to the
barricade and signed away. She had been next to impossible recently, stating,
"I'm not signing any more autographs. One of you ruined that when you followed
me home."

JASON STATHAM did not attend the premiere, but went to the movies at the
multiplex. He was a little upset that we had photos handy, but signed away for
those that asked.

The ABC Primetime Weekend was going on at the Disneyland Resort this weekend.
Despite numerous signs posted throughout the park that read, "DUE TO TIME
CONSTRAINTS, GUESTS WILL NOT HONOR AUTOGRAPH REQUESTS", I made out pretty well.
Because there were so many guests and shows attending, I will break it all
down by show. Here we go:

ABC Sports - MICHELLE KWAN actually had a scheduled sit down autograph session
in the late afternoon. However, you had to get a wristband right when the park
opened. The park opened at 9:30am, wristbands were gone by 9:32. MICHELLE
walked around the park and was very cordial signing autographs and posing for
photos with just about anyone that asked.

ABC Family - RAVEN (Simone) also had a scheduled autograph session at the Radio
Disney booth. Same deal as MICHELLE. Wristbands distributed at 9:30, gone
just as fast. She was not as accomodating as MICHELLE as she strolled through
the park, often saying, "Sorry, not right now."

Wonderful World of Disney - LINDSAY LOHAN was a last minute addition to the
festivities. She, too, had an unannounced scheduled signing in the park that
required a wristband. As soon as the gates to the park opened, it was like a
cattle stampede, with everyone running to the wristband distribution table. By
the time you blinked, all the wristbands were gone. She, too, would not sign
or pose for photos while walking through the park.

10 - 8 - The new drama starring OZ and Ghostbusters own ERNIE HUDSON and DANNY
NUCCI (Titanic). Both would sign and pose for anyone that asked.

Married to the Kellys - BRECKIN MEYER (Rat Race) and KIELE SANCHEZ, a relative
newcomer, welcomed the attention signing and posing for anyone that asked.

Threat Matrix - Another new show featuring Melrose Place's KELLY RUTHERFORD and
JAMES DENTON. Both walked the park pretty freely, and unrecognized, they
stopped sporadically for those that asked.

George Lopez Show - I saw GEORGE LOPEZ, CONSTANCE MARIE, and MASIELA LUSHA many
times throughout the day, and they were all very nice about signing and posing
for photos. GEORGE LOPEZ said, "If I see these on eBay, I'm going to be very
disappointed." to which I replied, "If you saw what they were going for on
eBay, you'd be even more disappointed."

Life with Bonnie - BONNIE HUNT and MARIANNE MUELLERLEILE were the only cast
members I saw walking the park, and both signed and posed for all that asked.

L.A. Dragnet - ED O'NEILL cancelled. EVA LONGORIA, best known for her role on
Young & the Restless, happily posed and signed for anyone that recognized her.

According to Jim - Everyone from this show was great throughout the day.
LARRY JOE CAMPBELL, JIM BELUSHI, and COURTNEY THORNE-SMITH were all great with
everyone, stopping to sign and pose with anyone that asked. KIMBERLY
WILLIAMS-PAISLEY was being escorted around the park by the cast member from
hell. This was the funniest encounter of the day:

ME: Kimberly, can you please sign?
Handler: Sorry, she can't sign.
Kimberly: Says who?
ME: Kimberly, please?
Handler: I said she can't sign!
Kimberly: Says who?
Some Lady: Kimberly, can I have your autograph?
Handler: No, she not signing autographs.
Kimberly: OH YES I AM!

She then asked the handler not to tell her what she can and cannot do, and
signed for anyone and everyone just to spite him. He said, "I'm only doing my
job", to which she replied, "So am I."

Hope & Faith - TED MCGINLEY walked the park pretty much unrecognized, but did
stop for those that asked. FAITH FORD was pretty much the only celebrity the
entire weekend to follow the "No Autograph" Policy. Each time we or someone
else asked, she would say, "Sorry, I'm not allowed to sign autographs this
weekend. There are signs posted everywhere."

ALIAS- Everyone and their mother was at the park this weekend for this show.
JENNIFER GARNER was still unconfirmed up until 2pm. The cast/fan photo session
was rescheduled from 10:30am to 4:30pm. As soon as the gates opened people
trampled each other to get to the photo area. They cut the line off at 50
people. These people waited over 6 hours to get a photo with the cast of
Alias, and didn't see anything else in the entire park. There was also an
advertised Alias book signing. However, the cast did not participate, just the
author of the book.

GREG GRUNBERG, DAVID ANDERS, RON RIFKIN, KEVIN WEISMAN, and MELISSA GEORGE
welcomed the attention, signing and posing for the hundreds of people that came
just to see them. MICHAEL VARTAN was on and off throughout the day, and tried
sneaking around whenever possible. He signed sporadically, but nothing
compared to the other stars attending this weekend's festivities.

JENNIFER GARNER attracted hoards of people. It seemed everyone in the park was
there just to see her. She stopped to sign a few, and when I asked her, she
said, "Sorry, I'm only signing for the kids today." Everywhere she went, the
herd followed. We were getting very discouraged, but decided to walk over to
the photo area to check things out. As soon as the photo session was over, she
went to town, and signed for a good 15 minutes. I think she didn't mind doing
it there, because we were standing behind a rope and it was a more controlled
environment. She doesn't like to be crowded around, so this was a better
situation for signing. There was a lot of shoving and pushing going on, mostly
by the Alias freaks that had been camped out for her all day. After that
nonsense, I went straight home to rest up to do it over all again the next day.

The second day of ABC Primetime weekend wasn't as crowded as the first, but
there appeared to be alot more autograph seekers walking the park. The escort
hosts (1 was assigned to each celebrity VIP) were a little more relaxed today,
and didn't really try to prevent the stars from stopping to sign or pose for
photos. Still exhausted from running around in 97 degree heat the previous
day, it was back to chasing all again.

The Bachelor - ANDREW FIRESTONE & JENNIFER SCHEFFT are a lot more popular than I
expected. They still don't understand the autograph thing and their
"celebrity" status, but welcomed the attention stopping for anyone that asked.

My Wife & Kids - DAMON WAYANS did not attend, and the fan events were
cancelled. However, I did spot TISHA CAMPBELL-MARTIN buying ice cream, and she
happily signed for me.

Karen Sisco - ROBERT FORSTER walked around and got alot of, "Hey, you're that
guy from that movie", but wasn't really bothered for autographs. I never saw
CARLA GUGINO.

It's All Relative - I have no idea who anyone on this show is, and couldn't
spot them if they were standing at the next urinal in the men's room.

I'm With Her - TERI POLO was great, signing and posing with fans.

Less Than Perfect - SARA RUE cancelled. ANDREA PARKER, ANDY DICK, and ERIC
ROBERTS were all great, but ZACHARY LEVI gets my vote for nicest celebrity of
the entire weekend. It was known that there were no real autograph sessions or
meet and greets, but this guy started his own session. After doing press, he
walked out and sat under a tree, meeting fans, posing for photos and signing
autographs. He asked everyone to line up, and promised to see everyone. He
made a lot of people's day by standing in the heat a good 2 hours.

The Practice - MICHAEL BADALUCCO, CAMRYN MANHEIM, RHONA MITRA, and JESSICA
CAPSHAW didn't turn down anyone's request.

NYPD BLUE - This was the big draw of the day. ESAI MORALES should take a lesson
from his elder co-stars, DENNIS FRANZ and GORDON CLAPP. While the latter two
would sign as much as possible, ESAI was pretty nasty throughout the day.
HENRY SIMMONS and JACQUELINE OBRADORS were also super, thanking fans for asking
for autographs and for watching the show.

8 Simple Rules - For some strange reason JOHN RITTER was the biggest draw of
the day. Middle aged women were going nuts for good ol' Jack Tripper. His
host escort was the nastiest we encountered the entire weekend. She was so
rude, I filed a complaint against her. While JOHN was walking and signing for
us, she said, "He's not signing anymore autographs" and pushed me fairly hard.
I told her she wasn't allowed to physically put her hands on me, and she didn't
have to be so rude. She said, "I can do whatever I want to make sure he gets
to where he needs to be" and shoved me out of the way. After the photo
session, he was walking and signing again, and she was pushing people out of
the way, "NO AUTOGRAPHS NO AUTOGRAPHS". We saw him a few times throughout the
day, and he was very accomidating throughout. KATEY SAGAL was great in the
morning, signing everything put in front of her. Others that asked her later
in the day got the, "Not right now" line. MARTIN SPANJERS signed sporadically
throughout the day. AMY DAVIDSON signed anything and everything. KALEY CUOCO
was the best. As she was walking, people started to approach her to sign and
get photos with. Her host escort said, "Sorry, she's not signing autographs.",
and KALEY replied, "If you think I'm not going to stop for these people, you're
escorting the wrong person."

JENNIFER GARNER made an appearance on a talk show Friday night. I made sure to
leave extra early to avoid traffic. While standing around complaining about
being too early, a black SUV arrived. 3 1/2 hours before showtime!!!!! I saw
her sitting in the back seat. The two other mutants waiting argued that it
wasn't her. As she got out of the car, she was talking on the phone, so i
thought she was gonna do the phone trick and ignore us. However, without being
asked, she walked right over to where we were standing, and signed away. I got
a poster signed first, and as I bent down to pick up my other items, I turned
around and she was standing in front of me with pen in hand, waiting to sign.
Alias costar and current beau, MICHAEL VARTAN showed up about an hour later,
and signed for those that asked. On the way out, a crowd of over 30 had
assembled. Just as I suspected, they snuck out a different exit.

My friend Jesse (yeah, the same Jesse whose car was stolen in the MICHAEL
JACKSON craziness) and I had agreed to meet for breakfast Monday morning. As
we sat down, I looked across the booth and HILARY DUFF was eating spaghetti
with her sister and mother. Luckily Jesse had the new photos in his car. We
had finished eating before them, so we waited outside. As she was walking
towards her car, I asked if she had time to sign a couple. She said, "Sure"
and waved us over. I told her about the in-store fiasco just a month earlier,
and she apologized for the insanity, and signed extra items for us.
